Dubai British School Mira (DBSM) is the newest and fourth branch of the highly regarded Dubai British Schools group, operated by Taaleem. Opened in August 2025, the school brings the same ethos and educational excellence that has earned the DBS group its Outstanding KHDA rating to the growing Mira and Reem communities in Dubailand. The school's guiding philosophy of 'Enjoy, Aspire, Achieve' sets the tone for everything it does: ensuring children are happy and enjoying school, in order to set and achieve their individual goals. Under the leadership of Founding Principal Amy Falhi, DBSM is committed to providing the highest standard of education where children thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Following the UK National Curriculum with British-educated homeroom teachers, the school currently serves students from FS1 through Year 8, with additional year groups being phased in over the coming years to eventually offer education through to Year 13. The campus is designed to accommodate over 1,600 students at full capacity. Wellbeing is prioritised through every decision, and the school actively fosters inclusion and diversity. An additional language is taught from Year 1, and the school offers a comprehensive programme of extra-curricular activities, learning support, and gifted student provision.
Families in the Mira, Town Square, Mudon, and Reem communities looking for a high-quality British curriculum school close to home. The DBS brand offers reassurance for families who want the proven track record of an Outstanding-rated school group in a brand-new, modern facility. Particularly suited to families with younger children who want to secure places early in a school that will grow with their child through to Year 13.
